Not a very good run for me. I was feeling pretty sore and tired from the beginning, struggled the first 5.7 miles on the warm-up and jogged .3 over to the start of the trail then attempted a tempo run on the second lap. I felt my legs cramping up and backed off the pace a little 2 miles into the tempo. I ended the 5 miles with a 6:30 average, so quite a bit slower than I would have liked. I was hoping to be closer to 6:15, but oh well. Sometimes you have to listen to the body. I think I've been under too much stress this week and I'm feeling a little run down. Did another 3.7 miles easy, and I mean very easy and pretty slow. Stratus-53 |
