Just an easy 5 miles this morning.  Ran over to Hurricane and then back home, still feeling sick to my stomach.

Did the La Verkin Loop tonight, felt pretty good.

I really had no plans of going over for Tempo Tuesday this morning, I had trouble going to bed, kepting waking up, and still didn't feel 100% with the stomach.  The alarm went off at 4 am and I just turned it off and went back to sleep, but it was strange at 4:05 am I was wide awake, so I just got out of bed and made it over to Clyde's

Did a 3 mile warm-up with the guys, then we did a new Tempo route that I hadn't done before.

1-6:29- Running with James

2-6:36- Still running pretty close to James

3-6:30- Starting to not feel so great

4-6:47- Hip starts hurting, as well as my ankle and my arch on my left foot.

5-6:54- Still struggling wanted to stop here, but talked myself into at least one more mile

6-6:50- Still hurting but tried to give a better effort.

40:11- 6:42 average

This workout wasn't very good, but at least I got some miles in and I tried.  The one thing with running is you do so many runs, that even when you have a bad day you don't have to dwell too long on it, because you are right back out there the next day or even the same day if you are doing doubles.

4 mile death march back to Clyde's.  I not only struggled on the tempo portion, but on the cool-down as well.

Difficult run.  Had a busy morning and afternoon finally had some time around 5 pm, took off and ran over to the Hurricane Library and then back home.  Going over was hot but I managed, however coming back I really suffered.  Anyway, very glad to have this run over even though it was only 6 miles and the pace was slow

A better run today, ran up to the Substation and then back home.  I wasn't able to get out early due to watching the boys this morning, but was able to run at about noon, starting to get toasty, but I managed better today compared to yesterday.

Ran out to my school and then back after working for awhile.  Right hip has really been acting up this week.  It was really bad today during the run.  I averaged right around 8 minutes for the run, so not very fast, but it was during the heat of the day.

Dodging lightening bolts for 17 miles with the Wildbull and the Bear.  We had a fun run this morning, ran down the Kolob road through Virgin and back to my house.  We took it pretty easy coming down, there are some pretty good downhill sections.  Pretty much as soon as we started we got rained on.  It wasn't too bad, until about mile 8 then it really picked up for a bit.  The scariest thing was the lightening, it was real close, in fact we saw a fire startup from where some lightening hit not too far from the road.  Once we got to Virgin, the Wildbull took off and pushed the pace the next 5 miles.  I just tried to keep pace, but was about 15 to 20 seconds back.  I closed the gap a little on the hills right before the big downhill on the La Verkin Twist.  Then I opened things up the last two miles on the downhill section of the Twist. I hit 6:09 and 5:38, so I was moving pretty good.  We finished up with a nice easy mile.  Anyway a good run, glad Bill and Cody came over and got me out of bed.
