I liked how Clyde, posted his food intake the day leading up to the race.

Friday

Lunch- I had a few small pieces of chicken, salad, some pears.

Dinner- pasta with meat sauce, probably more than I should have, but it was good.

Saturday- 2:00 am bagel

5:00 am Oatmeal, Cytomax

Took GU's at 7, 12, 20

Took a slice of orange from somebody toward the end, don't remember exactly which mile, but it seemed to help

Drank some Cytomax at 7, 11, 15, 19, 23.

Once again this year, I felt very sick and dizzy at the finish.

After my massage, I slept for an hour on the grass.  Each time I tried to get up I was dizzy, finally forced myself to walk around and within minutes had to vomit.  Not a pretty sight, but managed to make it to a trash can.  I felt bad as a little girl was standing right by the trash can watching the whole ordeal.  Finally, her dad came and got her, I apologized once I was finished and the dad just laughed like he understood exactly what runners go through.  After vomiting I felt great.

When I got home I weighed in at 136, of course most of that was fluids I had lost during the race, but I know I've not had my weight that low since college.

Sunday was a day of rest, and I also didn't do any running today, but I did do some physical labor tonight at my in-laws.  We had a lesson on service for family home evening, then had to move all of their furniture out of their basement and tear out all of their carpet.  It was some good exercise and my body doesn't seem to be too sore.

I thought you had a great attitude about not quite reaching your goal the other day. A PR is still a reason to be happy. I didn't get to meet you wife, but that is cool that you have a Jarren as well. My wife will tell you that we had a hard time agreeing on names because I don't like very many (for my kids), but I do like that one. Good luck in your recovery.
