First day of any real exercise since the marathon. I went and played basketball for 45 minutes this morning and really didn't feel that great. Still quite a bit of pain in the hips and also felt like my hamstrings were pretty tight. I'm sure it is just a matter of time, before I start feeling good again. I've been really busy lately teaching a driver's education course after school so I've been putting in some longer hours than I usually do. I'm also trying to complete some assignments for an upper level independent college course. I really slacked off on the class over the summer, while I was training and doing other things and now I'm up against some deadlines. I wish I could write an essay as easy as I can read and respond to running blogs. |
